It takes only 7 seconds to determine whether you like someone or not.
There is a saying about when you meet a new friend, the first impression you have for him / her within the first 7 second can determine whether she / he can be your better half. You may call it love at first sight. Frankly speaking I'm the typical person. I can easily fall on someone when I met him for the first time. Sometimes I enjoy the crush, sometimes don't. When the crush makes me lose myself, I kind of not enjoying anymore - and I hate myself of being like that, Love at first sight can be dangerous, emotional people like me can't take control of ourselves when they fall in love.
Someone builds up the love story by friendship. It just never works for me unfortunately. The first few months I met a new guy are the most tempting moment. Are there sparkles? But when the time passes, the love is gone too. Have you ever used to fancy someone for a long time, but if there were no more drama, no more feeling eventually too?
So people may say, that means you are easily attracted by physical attributes - maybe yes. Everyone tends to like beauty. I never heard someone is looking for someone who is not attractive. Everybody is being attracted by the appearance first nowadays. The fancy package do attract you to open its content. Apart from that, physical attributes are really subjective. People have different standards towards beauty. I would rather say my law of attraction is the chemistry.

Eat, work, sleep... here's another day... eat, work, sleep.... we keep repeating the same cycle every day... Sometimes I wonder how much time we devote to work and how much time we live for our life?
I used to plan a lot in the past, or what we call to be prepared for your future - like I start doing part-time jobs in my secondary school life, while my classmates are having fun. Until now, I won't say I am a workaholic, I dun mean to be, but I am still working hard. Especially when I am fortunate enough to work for something I enjoyed doing. The designer is a job to make people's lives better. Work hard for the future, so that we could enjoy a better life afterwards, sounds logical? But no one knows the future, even if you've tried so hard. Life is not a plan, it won't go as you want.
When some of my friends talk about how much they hate their jobs, but we are still doing it everyday - for a living. Isn't it a waste of time, waste of your life? Think about that - if tomorrow is the last day of your life, what will you do? That's the thing you find most meaningful. Find something can motivate you, and do that now. Tell your love ones how much you treasure them. If there's any one you are infatuated with, let them know your feeling no matter what, sometimes the result might not be what you are fond of, but at least you've tried. Don't let yourself to regret of not trying.
INFJ (Introversion, iNtuition, Feeling, Judging) is my character type specified after my assessment of the Myers–Briggs Type Indicator. Turns out my character type is the rarest among all 16 types, makes up about 1%-3% of the population.
I'm fascinated by how accurate the theory is. As I'm always dominated by intuition, I do believe in my gut feeling and the sixth sense a lot. Now I understand why - INFJ tend to be more abstract than concrete. We focus on the big picture rather than the tiny little details, and on future possibilities rather than immediate realities. We are dreamer. If I truly connected to something or someone, I'd just go for it.
Maybe that's one of the reason why I enjoy daydreaming ;)
One of the promising result I got from the test is I'm perfect for my current career - designer. INFJ are sensitive, creative & perfectionists. To us, problems as opportunities to design and implement creative solutions. I often have a vision in my mind, and if I believe in doing something, I'd say I can be very persistent and determined in achieving it - no matter what it takes.
In fact I'm interested to study people's behaviour and it's easy for me to sense their motive behind. It can also be explained as INFJ can adapt easily in social situations due to our complex understanding of an individual's motivations. I treasure friendships a lot and I'd say I prefer to have few close friends instead of a bunch of not-so-closed friends. That's why INFJ are well liked by our peers, and considered as close friends and confidants by others.

A woman's perfume tells more about her than her handwriting - by Christian Dior.
The fragrance of the woman speaks for itself. It has its own character - a girlie lady probably would wear the floral perfume which smells sweet & refreshed, a clubbing gal might dress heavily in vanilla which is said to be a natural aphrodisiac. The smell is probably one of the strongest sensations that trigger human memory. I used to enjoy the floral smell a lot, currently am obsessed with sandalwood & amber. I have come across a few occasions of guys asking me which perfume do I wear. They said it impressed them a lot. I do believe perfume is the most intense form of memory. A unique scent represents the character of a lady.
Perfume is one of the most commercially successful products. It has high margins - simply put on a celebrity or big brand name - it sells. It's valuable cos it makes a woman woman. I'd say it's the perfect accessory to a lady other than the high heels. A good perfume not only has decent scent, but also visually stunning. A perfect example is Miumiu's fragrance.
If you are not wearing perfume at the moment, I strongly recommended you to try it on now. The woody flavours from Jo Malone & Penhaligons are my recent favourite. Picking up your own favourite brand is fun. You could start by walking to a chain cosmetics stores and play with different scent - you'll find what you like / dislike. Start with a sample size so that it's affordable & you could explore with different brands. It's like finding your new boyfriend, it might be struggling in the beginning but eventually it will come ;)
The best of fragrance is it will eventually blends in with your own body scent - so everyone smell differently despite you might wear the same perfume theoretically.
You are never fully dressed without perfume. Ready to get yourself dressed today?
let's go for veggie to clear your stomach & your soul :)

4) cut the barley leaves into pieces & mix it with the dish
4) season it w/ basil + pepper > done! easy peasy ;)

What a small world we are living at... there's no doubt that our world looks big, our nature is stunning. I often thought how tiny our human is in front of it. However, in terms of people connection, it's still small. Have you ever met a new friend in a party - and realize he / she is your friend's friend? If you heard of Six degrees of separation, probably you know what I'm trying to say then -
Six degrees of separation is the idea that all living things and everything else in the world are six or fewer steps away from each other so that a chain of "a friend of a friend" statements can be made to connect any two people in a maximum of six steps.
We connect each other so easily these days - by internet, social media, work, gathering, dating apps... Establishing a new connection is not hard - the point is - how you maintain it. It's like growing a new plant, you need to nurture it with water & sunlight, most important - love. It may sounds a bit weird to love a new friend, but I'm trying to say is, if you meet someone you'd like to establish your connection with, do nurture this relationship with love & care.
You meet different people - probably you know who you like & hate. What matter is their personality / feeling / outlook / soul / career. Sometimes I do feel maybe the education level isn't that important. What matter is you do share the same world. Some people you could never share the world with him / her even though how hard you've tried - you've struggling yourself to fit yourself in - you change yourself - but still you could never live with him / her - you just fail to fit into his / her world which is so much different from yours.
To match someone, maybe personality isn't that important too. However, what it DO matter is the living environment probably construct someone - construct your habit / lifestyle / taste / preference / vision / way of thinking / behaviour / what you do. Can you communicate with someone well? It's a matter of mixing of the above factors to see if you could live into his / her world.
It seems a easy theory, but it really depends on luck to whether you could meet that person who lives the same world with you. Isn't it?
According the urban dictionary, the trophy girlfriend is someone who is extremely beautiful, to be considered as a prize. Unfortunately her love by an older man is kind of trick love. He just uses her for his own pleasures to show-off to his buddies, will lose his interest once she begins to age sadly. Or it refers to type of playful woman who is model-like & look for sugar daddy. Neither of them love / care each other. This type of mutually beneficial relationship sounds weird but it do commonly exist in the reality.
Sometimes I feel like guys are looking for a trophy gal instead of a life-long partner. It works for both way. The trophy gal might be searching for a trophy boy too.
What's relationship? Why are we seeking for a better half? Don't you wanna grow up with your life-long partner? Or else he/ she is just a piece of medal for you to show-off ironically?
Miss our school days... those were the pure love that you trust your instant feeling. You love someone in the way they are. Not in terms of calculation - what they do, how old, how much they earn, where do they live, what are their hobbies... Or school kids do concern of these criteria these days? I might be too old to know haha, but anyways, what I'm trying to say is that when you grow up, you start to lose the ability to love the true human nature. Maybe I shud put it in this way - you know yourself better, in a sense that you could only allow certain type of people to get into your world. You know which type of guy/ gal would attract you the most. That's still good at least you know what your preference are. Isn't it?
At the end of the day, we're simply a piece of social recognition, a piece of medal to show-off in front of the peer, a piece of certificate to gain the cultural influence. Aren't we?
Do you want to be the trophy gal? Or are you consider yourself as a trophy guy?
I like this idiom when I was
small. However, in this commercial world, everyone is only attracted by a fancy cover, or jump into the ending chapter, without read the book in patient. Everyone still
prejudge without fully understand its content. Everything is about
packaging. That's why we need fashion to cover yourself.
Or
do you still read newspaper / book / magazine today? Press industry is
one of the evening industry sadly. I am a bookworm since I was small and
I still enjoy reading now. Reading can unwind your mind & soul, nurture you, get yourself explore to a new world. I like holding a book to read instead of
kindle, probably I'm type of old school person or I shud say I'm keen on
physical stuff which is substantial. I guess nowadays people like
watching short video than reading. So I feel really thankful for you to read
this blog ;)
Life is a book, in a sense it's so tempting that you
never know what's next until you read till to the last chapter.
Someone
asked me how would I write our story. I said I hope it's good
ending - which is getting married & die. Then that person kept
asking what's the bad ending - I said die - it comes to the
laughter. How come all the endings are related to the death. That's the
ultimate ending, isn't it? However, have you ever imagined an ending
that you can't live / die. You could only live with a sweet poison?
The sweet poison is the little surprise of your life. It's the secret chapter that you don't expect while you read.
That's the fun of reading a book, or live your life. Life is full of surprises and new experience. Sometimes it's exciting & happy, it could be tough & heart broken also. As long as you have a strong mind & love to live with it, that's nothing to fear. Isn't it?
Live your daydream, you find your love, getting the fun part of it, then?
I'm ambiguously yours - is the best position in a relationship - in a sense that you could never lose in the love game - either you could back off or invade, eventually no one knows the end, I mean no one could predict the future.
You think your future is in your hand? Okay excellent. Everyone couldn't know their fate is, someone who is superstitious will try to predict their future in many ways - Fortune telling, horoscopes, tarot.... come on, you think everything is in your control but no way - We live our life, I live my daydream. Our fate is in our own hands. So just go with the flow.
To some extent - love is just a game. You could be the player, getting the fun - then quit the game easily. Or you could stay there - enjoying the ambiguity of it. It's so tempting to be uncertain - that means you could never lose in the game. Life's like gambling. Love's gamble too, to certain extent. You could be serious, playful - getting into itself / losing yourself / being himself / herself - is just a matter of choice actually.
Ambiguously yours - is like a sweet poison. Attractive, dangerous, seductive, unpredictable, tempting, fancy... The best of it is the uncertainty - you never know what the story will end & how will it be.
Have you ever being attracted by a fancy product when window shopping? Impulse shopping makes you to owe it - then after you get on hand - you just throw it away. What's the point of buying things? To celebrate festival? Maybe the model answer is simply because it's just behind the window - you feel like you could never get it somehow - once you got it - you just lose your interest.
Have you ever been addicted to something or someone - in a sense that you feel like you couldn't live without it?
It's delicately malicious - you're being attracted by it/ him/ her in your destiny - even you know if you taste it, you may be in danger. It's like the myth in the Bible, Eve tastes the Apple, then she gives it to Adam.
...The story of Adam and Eve is central to the belief that God created human beings in a Garden of Eden, although they fell away from that state and formed the present world full of suffering and injustice. It provides the basis for the belief that humanity is, in essence a single family, with everyone descended from a single pair of original ancestors. It also provides much of the scriptural basis for the doctrines of the fall of man and original sin that are important beliefs in Christianity, but which are not generally held in Judaism or Islam... A serpent deceives Eve into eating fruit from the forbidden tree, and she gives some of the fruit to Adam. These acts give them additional knowledge, but it give them the ability to conjure negative and destructive concepts such as shame and evil...
Apple is the sweet poison. Another example would be like the sky-diving / roller-coaster / zip-line / car-racing or any dangerous activities you may engage in - you knew it was dangerous - you may lose your life but you're still obsessed with it, provided that it's so tempting to bet your life to enjoy the fun.
If you're dead by this sweet poison, it's still fine. If you're not, then you could only live with it. It's like drug addiction. You could never live without it. You might wanna commit suicide to escape from the pain, seriously / logically / emotionally you won't let yourself do so - the only thing you could do is to live with it - take the pill piece by piece - til the day your story chapter ends.
I never tried this sweet poison in my life - frankly speaking, I don't think it exists in reality indeed - but now I do think I finally got the first bite of it - which deliberately it tastes so exotic & toxic, in a sense that I dunno how to describe. However, I'd never try any drugs in my life for sure, but I guess it's a pretty similar kind of feeling. It's more addictive than getting fully drunk. It's even more addictive than caffeine or nicotine... its outlook & taste make you never forget...
The experience itself I'd describe - unpredictable, exciting, amazing, surreal, dangerous, confused, mentally retarded - I'm obsessed with the uncertainty of it. I completely lose myself when I take it. But once you tried, you could never stop yourself. How addictive it is!?
Just enjoy this sweet poison! I'd like to see if I will be poisoned or vice versa, as it works both ways as always. Suppose I get a sneak peek of the addiction. In that case, I'm sure the drug dealer would feel the same too - he'd / she'd probably be attracted by the medication too and definitely tried it himself / herself as it's so attractive like a Scorpio - you know you might be get caught by its tail but you still wanna catch it somehow - keep it as yours - FOREVER.
It drives me even crazier than I expected - Have you found yours?
Take a step backward & take a deep breathe down... in the fast speed
world, working everything like a fast track projects urgently, pay the
price of your own health / time / family / love.
Does it worth afterall?
Luis Fonsi - Despacito / Slowly
(English version)
Step by step, soft softly
We are going to get caught little by little
When you kiss me so skillfully
I think that you're malicious delicately
Step by step, soft softly
We're going to get caught, little by little
And it's just that this beauty is a puzzle
But to put it together here I have the pieces
Slowly
I wanna breathe your neck slowly
Let me whisper things into your ear
So that you remember if you're not with me
Slowly
I wanna strip you off with kisses slowly
Sign the walls of your laberinth
And make your whole body a manuscript Turn it up
Maybe we shud take a break from our work - life is a cycle
- we keep repeating our routine everyday, without thinking what's
valuable for us. Work / eat / sleep / play - then die? Do you want your
life to end like this? Live your own life, think like YOLO - you only
live once, probably it will make the life easier.
Sometimes
I feel like it doomed to be fate. When I was very young, I never trust
in destiny, I don't believe in horoscopes like most gals do - I do think
it's boring... But now when I met more frds, especially most of my best
frds they are super superstitious which 'badly' influenced me ;)
I used to write my own chapter of life.
Now I do believe maybe it's gd idea to let someone to write your life - slowly.
let's continue to create some recipes in the new year!
I make this ready-to-made breakfast early in the morning - it's easy & fast, most importantly - healthy :)

Love is Manipulation in a sense that you wanna change your lover - on the other hand - he might wanna change you & turn you into her dream gal. Should I describe it as change or control?
Love is Control, Love is Manipate, Love is Selfish.
Is it good or bad? Well, I have to say it works both way... If you're glad to be manipulated, you're happy to become his/ her slave - I mean you're willing to flip yourself around for him/ her - to certain extent, it means you luv him/ her, that's why you're satisfied to be flipped around.
BUT - most of the time we're just human - we have emotions or what we called ego, if your ego are too big - you'll probably never & ever be manipulated by someone even he/ she is your lover,
Kylie Minogue - Chocolate
If love were liquid it would drown me,
In a placeless place would find me,
In a heart shape come around me and then,
Melt me slowly down,
If love were human it would know me,
In a lost space come and show me,
Hold me and control me and then,
Melt me slowly down
Like chocolate, Tastes so good,
My heart's been mended who'd have thought it would,
An empty bet and still I won the cash,
A man who I love and who,
Loves me back
If you are addicted to your lover, you might be changed, there's no doubt about it. People getting influenced easily - no only limited to love, but peer, colleagues, culture... Always bear in mind there're no eternal things in the reality. Everything changes easily, life goes on.
Life is easy in terms of it comes & goes without prediction. Things changed, people changes, why don't you change yourself - not for your lover - but for YOURSELF!
The next question is - Do you call it Manipulate / Manage / Magic or ...?
Life should be fun & easy if you live with it... in a sense that you go with the flow.|
Don't
try to plan ahead too much, you never know your future, instead -
better treasure what you have at the moment - your love ones, family
& friends, your career & most importantly your life.
If
you could read this blog, that means you are a fortunate one already, as
you live in a civilized, modern country which has internet connection.
Compared to those people who live the third world, we are born to be
lucky. Ironically speaking, we still not yet found our happiness, not
yet realized we are fortunate enough to be here.
Too much human
desires - even you found your right job, right boyfriend, have a happy
family, live in a decent house, you can never be satisfied. You always
ask for more - that's the nature of human being.
Maslow's theory
explains everything. According to wiki, Maslow's hierarchy of needs is a
theory in psychology proposed by Abraham Maslow (1943) - stated that
people are motivated to achieve certain needs and that some needs take
precedence over others. Our most basic need is for physical survival,
and this will be the first thing that motivates our behaviour. Once that
level is fulfilled the next level up is what motivates us, and so on.
Humans
wants are always unlimited. However, we should be cherish of what we
have at the moment. Treasure your love ones, treasure your dream,
treasure your life.
Live with life, go with the flow. Live in the present - not future.
Live your dream, even your daydream :)
seasonings

4) add tagliatelle into the pan with mushroom, together with whipping cream

Valentines, Christmas all these festivals are just festivals itself. Sometimes I feel like these are just gimmick for business growth, is a kind of consumerism which fades the truth value of festival in celebrating it with your loves one.
Frankly speaking, why do people need to buy a gift for someone to prove that they love each other or to celebrate the joy?
If not, does it mean that I dun like you or I'm not enjoying the happiness?
It's so weird, nowadays people always consume something to show their value, show off their social status - which is insignificant. If your social esteem is built on a brand name product, what's your true value to yourself? Why do you need to prove your value by consumption?
After all, these products are getting depreciated, might turn up in landfills which pollute the world. The human desire are unlimited but our natural resources are limited indeed.
Shall we RETHINK of buying every product and the sustainability of it?
Facebook is like a must these days, you write what you wanna be.... you share the happiness, someone will show it off, so many things you could explore with facebook.
You read news, check your friends' updates.... and how much is it like your real life?
Is it just your dream life?
That's nothing wrong if it's like your dream only if you could strike a balance.
All you want, all you live your life is how you dream it to be.
Enjoy & have fun with social media! Connecting with people, communication is awesome. Especially when you grow up, your social circle is getting smaller. With these social tools, you could build up your network though, with your dream life
Unless you use facebook as a tool to hoover your ex-boyfriend/ girlfriend, that's a different story. I recommend stop it cos it's useless :)
Time files, you grow up... getting mature & older.... you work, relax, meet someone, what's next?
Where's your soul afterall?
Are you doing what's true to you?
If not, better step back & think what's true to your life - family, friends, love... If you can't find any of these, you better think about your second life :)
Live your life, make it happen!
Love should be in your life. You should dream in your soul.
The search of dream takes effort, reflection and resolve. Are you ready to work hard for a
future that doesn’t yet exist?
Doer who wants to find faster & better ways to solve complex problems only. Creator who chooses curiosity over complacency every time. Play safe or step forward? Who do you want yourself to be?
Let's step up to make tomorrow a better place. Better for
everyone, everywhere.
What lengthens lives?
A good design should defy language and geographical barriers, connect us
across the globe as one human race.
Life's realistic, without your dream, life's too boring though... However, while you are chasing your dream, there're always lots of obstacles ahead. How will you go through them?
If there's a deviation in your dream, is it still your dream?
You may twist your dream a bit, the point is how much you twist it.
If that twist is a compromise, it's no longer your dream.
No dream, no life. It's my say since I was a kid. Time files, I wonder how much dream I have pursued - got the design awards that I long for, in pursuit of the career as a design professional ... That's it? There must be something I missed out.
Now it's time to make it happen.
Step forward, never look back, the best is yet to come.
P.S. My inspiration comes from below display @ harbourcity
Life should be full of new experiences & personal growth.
Life's like gambling, either you all in & take risks, you may lose but gain new experience with pain OR you've settled into a stable groove in your current position for a while now without much room for skill expansion.
Don't hold onto the past, life goes on... Love is always about the future.
How can you champion revolutionary goals if you are such a traditionalist?
Life's like a pipe dream, it's conflict, it's compromise, something exciting if you bear risk.
Will you let go of yourself once & jump out of your comfort zone? Even though you may need to pay a high price? Do you still dare to take risks & challenge yourself?

He's just not that into you... what you should be clear about men or love is that, there's no such thing called eternal love.
Love can be an instant feeling. It comes & goes. What we need to do is to take it easy.
If you love a bird, set it free, if it flies back, it's yours.
Love makes you fool, always don't try to push it too hard. If the result is not something you expect, do NOT be frustrated and start questioning yourself - Have I did something wrong? Or will it work better in this way?
Sometimes woman are always way too sensitive & think too much.
20 - free as a bird, from uni to the real world, still pursuit your dream job
30 - working like a machine, for a living, your love, family, kids, mortgage... everything but not yours... starts to think of social responsibility
40 - what would you see yourself to be?
What's life? A living, a way of thinking? Eat, sleep, work... relax.... keep repeating the cycle til the day you die... Life's boring, life could be interesting only if you have your dream & love.
People always say you should accomplish certain goal in your age. Like you should get married, or should buy a house... Come on! That's your own life, you are the one & only who should be responsible of it. Frankly speaking, there's no need to care about what other think as long as you live your own life happily. Why should you care about the social status of how other perceive yourself?
She can be adorable, tough, stunning, a bit sneaky. She sings well in , even she plays the opera style in Alice Through the Looking Glass (2016), you can still see her character. The gal in The Intern (2015) is a workaholic yet lovely. Not to mention The Devil Wears Prada (2006), the remarkable movie pushes her to fame.
The reason I like her so much, apart from her gorgeous look & acting. I see her soul from her eyes in every character she played.

One of my favourite designers - undoubtedly the most controversy one.
His couture collections for Christian Dior are still my lovable collection.
I can't find better words to describe his work - marvellous, elegant, impressive, exotic but it's still John Galliano ... Definitely he's a very talented designer. You can feel his creativity & passion from his collection. But I couldn't agree his racial view. Yes some people may call him racist... which makes him fall in business. I still appreciate his work, at least you can find his soul from the fashion. Big fashion brands could be boring & commercial. John Galliano is never boring yet commercial and he's still himself afterall.

From now on, it'll be a new platform for me to share my inner thoughts to others. 10 years back I used to be a very shy gal, I'm still me til now... I still like creative writing and express myself through music instrument & drawing. I will share these things with all of you with this blog ;)
10 years... to the earth, Doomsday clock is ticking faster.... what have we done to the earth?
10 years... people comes & goes, your lovers, your friends, maybe your family loves one...
10 years back, I am at UK as an exchange student and still keeping the boarding pass. Remember the time of how I did the internship, flat hunting, move my house everything all by myself. My personal growth is indeed unforgettable experience. That's the first time I feel like I'm being independent.
10 years passed, now what I'm looking for is a new way out. As a designer, I should have broaden my horizons and I hope it's really my brand new start in this new year. Change is good thing if you have grown up? Isn't it?
